View Larger Image   Stanley Butt Chisel Set of 6 No. 60   Description: This is a nice sharp set of 1950's chisels marked "STANLEY WOOD CHISEL NO. 60 MADE IN U.S.A.". Although these don't have the famous EVERLASTING CHISEL name on them, they have a very similar feel in hand, and quality of workmanship. Made to last a life time! These have the same quality steel as the early No. 60 chisels, and also have the metal end cap. As you can see the wood handle was replaced by a plastic like material called "PERMALOID" and Stanley offered it in a few different colors, in the case of these handles it is yellow/black. The sizes of the chisels include 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, & 1-1/2" widths, and range from about 7.25" to 8.25" long overall. The longest chisel is an older No. 60, (1-1/4" wide) and has the "NO. 60" stamped on the metal instead of marked on the black part of the handle like the others. All these chisel are in good++ condition, ready to use condition with very little wear on the metal area, some wear and scratches on the handles, no rust, no damage, good metal end cap, clean!
