vintage Zenith 6-D-516 "Beehive" (1941) Pre-War radio in beautiful original cond For Sale

vintage zenith tube radio 1930-49 with original bakelite case. I aquired this radio from an individual who restores vintage radios over 20 years ago. Nice example of this model. I was able to find one of these that sold for 225.00 in 2012. That radio was fully restored. This radio was working the last time I used it years ago. It has been on display since then.the case has no chips, cracks, hairline cracks or repairs of any kind. This Deco set was designed by Robert Budlong, a Zenith designer who was responsible for many of Zenith's classic radio case designs. Known by collectors as the "Beehive" or "Pancake" radio. The chassis is a very strong performer with six tubes. AM with a tone adjustment (middle knob). The brown Bakelite case still looks great without significant fading. About 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D.
