Ceramic vase of of octagonal form with incised text decoration by Kiyomizu Hisashi, the grandson of Kiyomizu Rokubei V. Signed Hisashi 1983.6. Excellent condition.
Kiyomizu graduated from ceramics studies at the Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology. Starting in 1968, he participated in new craft-based ceramics. Winner of a prize at the Kyoto Craft Exhibition.
