orig. 1901 Charles Gustrine *OUR MARTYRS Print* ABE LINCOLN, GARFIELD, MCKINLEY For Sale

>Offered here is anold and original1901 Charles Gustrine & Company OUR MARTYRS vintage print, featuring slain American presidents Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield and William McKinley!!Please see all eightphotos, as they are an important part of my description. Found at a local estate, thiscardboard vintage print (nota repro or reprint)measures approximately12\" x 10\", considerably smaller in size than the \"paper\" prints that surface for sale. The cardboard print was mounted on some sort of thicker poster-board, most likely at time of issue. The bottom/left corner says \"Brinkerhoff & Barnett, ENG\'s\" (engravers)while the bottom/right corner says \"Copyrighted by Chas. Gustrine & Co., 134 Van Buren St., Chicago, Sept. 18th 1901\". There is an American eagle present at the top/center of the print, while there\'s an image of the U.S. Capitol Building surrounded by American flags at the print\'s bottom. Biographical information on each of the assassinated presidents is presented in scroll form, accompanied by each president\'s last words or a relevant quote. The print was originally issued in September, 1901 shortly after the death of William McKinley. The images of McKinley, Abe Lincoln and James Garfield is an outstanding memorial to honor these American presidents.

<>Condition: age/handling wear to include a small hole at the center of the eagle, corner wear in lower/left and other misc. minor wear. The cardboard is peeling away from the poster-board at both bottom corners (this is how I determined the print is actual cardboard). The majority of the cardboard print\'s presidential images is fine and presents nicely!
