This is NOS or New Old Stock, Mid Century Modern teal blue matte-textured ceramic tile made in Japan. There is roughly 12 square feet or about 109 individual 4\" by 4\" tiles with a few stray strips of tile thrown in. These gorgeous tiles have never been used, and are held together by white wax fasteners on the back until you lay down the grout. These can be used for mosaics or in a bathroom, kitchen or countertop where ever you need tile. I have some contrasting Japanese grey tiles in another sale, also never used. The color of these teal blue tiles is hard to describe, its so vivid! Perfect for re finishing a desk, countertop or table, they can also be used on the floor or wall. For you Danish Modern or MCM fans, this tile color appeared to have been created to contrast perfectly with teak and walnut wood.
