antique tin candle sconce 10.5 x 2.75 original very good original 18th 19thc

Antique hand made tin candle sconce
1.all original, late 18th early 19thc
2.I believe based on the size this is more from the 18th c than 19thc
3. this is a little smaller than most
4. notice the front basket that holds the candle socket, it is almost flat
5. front basket has nice crimping all around the edge, it matches the crimping across the top back
6. I have not cleaned this, lots of dust and candle wax
7. estate purchase, was hanging on a nail in the attic
8. very nice condition, not perfect
9. the bottom is not completely flat, will not sit
10. the back is slightly out of plum, is not completelyflat
11. slit in the side of the candle cup is to allow a little givefor very fat candles
12. really excellent very early sconce
