Up for sale is a rare antique Pre-Columbian Mayan sculpted pottery bowl made 400-600 A.D..It's sculpted out of thick terra-cotta and has a nice silhouette.The bowl is footed with a circular foot and painted by hand with lovely polychromed finish that has acquired a nice patina from ageIt measures 8 1/4 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches tall.The bowl has some paint loss, and a couple hairline cracks as shown.
