Up for sale is a rare antique Pre-Columbian Mayan sculpted pottery bowl made 500-750 A.D..It\'s sculpted out of thick terra-cotta and has a nice silhouette with a rounded bottom.The bowl is polychrome painted by hand with a lovely stylized pattern out of natural toned pigment and has acquired a wonderfulpatina from age.It is in good condition and measures 8 1/4 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall.The bowl has somehairline cracks and paint loss as shown in photos.
