antique Empire Winstead Ct. 4 Full Blades Congress Bone Scales 1900-1920 RARE For Sale

This knife has no cracks or chips in the beautifully jigged bone handles. All four blades have great snap, and all four blades still retain most of the steel that it originally came with. It has had very little sharpening and use. The knife also has fluted balusters and a nickel silver nameplate shield on the front side. The knife appears to have steel balusters, which indicates to me that this knife was made closer to the early 1900 era. The knife appears to have been stored more than used.

The antique Empire Winstead Congress pocket knife from the early 1900s is a rare and valuable collectible item. Made in the United States, this manual pocketknife features four full blades made of carbon steel, including a pen, sheepsfoot, and spear point blade. The honey colored bone scales add to the knife's beauty and elegance, making it a unique piece for any collector of vintage folding knives. With its original design and craftsmanship, this Empire Winstead Congress knife is sure to be a prized addition to any collection.
