YMCA Large "John" Badge Back / Jacket Patch Vintage c1895* Very Scarce 9" x 10"
This piece came to me as part of a large collection of several embroidered patches from the 1960's-70'sThe YMCA design certainly dates to 1895.It does not appear to have been made anytime in at least the past 70 years. I can't find another example.
Quality workmanship. Surface feels like short looped carpet. Curled a bit at the top points.Showing only minor signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. Material is pliable. Clean on both sides. Colors are vibrant. Overall in good to very goodcondition. You will receive the exact example shown in the photos. At its widest points, It measures approx. 9 1/4" x 10"
