An original AUTHENTIC 1876 Baseball card sized CDV cartes de visite of legendary and iconic playwright, poet, actor, WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. It measures approximately 2.5\" x 4\" and is on very thick board material. This CDV is clearly and completely credited on the front from Sophus Williams and dated 1876, W. Berlin.
I have never seen another one of these clearly dated on the front 1876 and a beautiful facsimile signature / autograph as well. It is EXTREMELY UNCOMMON and SCARCE to find Carte de visites EVER DATED!
This Baseball card size CDV is in overall good to very good condition. The red border is intact with its Sophus Williams red border!
