ITEM DESCRIPTION
This antique Weller Art Pottery Ardsley vase is in Excellent Condition with No Chips or Cracks. NOTE: There is natural crazing to the glaze consistent with age. Made in the USA, this attractive vase features a rich green glaze with tall molded reeds and contrasting brown cattails. A white flower with a yellow center decorates the base. The tall flared form has a deeply scalloped rim and vertical ribbed design that complements the naturalistic cattail motif. It measures approximately 7 5/8" tall and dates from 1900-1925.

PATTERN & DESIGN
The Weller Ardsley line features nature-inspired decoration with molded botanical elements and colorful glazes. This example has a tall, graceful form decorated with vertical green reeds and raised brown cattails. The scalloped upper rim resembles the tips of growing reeds, while the white flower and small sculpted leaves at the base add additional dimensional detail. The combination of the elongated form, naturalistic decoration, and rich green coloring creates a distinctive example of early Weller American art pottery.
This measures 7 5/8" High x 2 7/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Vase.
