“The Corpse Who Prowled by Night” follows a road construction crew that disturbs the resting place of the evil Silas Dunster. His corpse seemingly returns from the grave and begins stalking and murdering members of the crew.
CONDITION:
Extremely low-grade structural condition.
Comic is completely detached and consists of loose original sheets/pages and cover housed together in a bag and board. There is no functional binding.
COMPLETENESS HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED AND THIS COPY SHOULD BE ASSUMED INCOMPLETE.
Front cover remains highly displayable despite the structural condition and retains strong blue, red, yellow and green colors with fantastic cemetery/zombie imagery.
Visible defects include extensive spine deterioration, heavy edge and corner wear, creasing, tears, paper loss, surface wear, staining/discoloration and substantial age-related deterioration.
Interior sheets/pages should be expected to exhibit significant tanning, edge wear and general handling wear consistent with a comic published in 1954.
This copy is being offered primarily as an original pre-Code horror survivor, reader/filler copy, restoration candidate, cover example or collection of original Golden Age comic pages.
