Warmuth’s Restaurant, Boston (c. 1940\'s). Matchbook Condition: Very Good/Unstruck.“Warmuth’s Famous Restaurant was a storied, landmark dining institution that operated in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. Located at 278–284 Devonshire Street in Boston\'s Financial District, it was highly regarded for its relaxed, cozy, ocean-oriented maritime atmosphere. Its midcentury menus and advertisements frequently featured nautical artwork, including clipper ships and a dapper lobster wearing a top hat. The establishment had a well-remembered and curious tradition of listing its menu prices so that they ended in odd pennies.”The matchbook is in very good condition. Full & unstruck. Bit of superficial wear to front panel.
