Vintage photographic postcard showing Säumerstraße in Wallern, the German name for present-day Volary, Czech Republic, in the historic Bohemian Forest region.
Front is marked “Wallern, Säumerstraße” and “Foto Seidel.” Reverse is printed:
Nr. 280. Böhmerwaldverlag Fr. Seidel, Krummau a. M.
Franz Seidel continued the well-known Seidel photographic and postcard business after the death of his father, noted Bohemian Forest photographer Josef Seidel, in 1935. This appears to be a later Seidel issue, probably c. 1935–1940s, possibly produced from an earlier family negative.
