Up for sale is a beautiful authentic piece of vintage mid century English art pottery. This striking ceramic pitcher jug was manufactured by Wade Heath and Co at the Flaxman Works in Burslem England dating between 1939 and 1950.
It features a classic Art Deco silhouette with an elegant flared rim a beautifully proportioned curvaceous body and a stylized geometric handle. The exterior boasts a highly desirable hand applied mottled drip glaze in rich ochre ginger and warm tan tones. The underside is clearly stamped with the authentic FLAXMAN WADE HEATH ENGLAND S302 backstamp.
Measures 9 inches tall and roughly 5 inches in diameter. Beautiful condition
