World War II.The watch is working.A true artifact of a bygone era of militarism, made by the Swiss manufacturer Silvana Fabrique d\'Horlogerie. This service watch is shock-resistant and protected from magnetic fields affecting the mechanical precision. It features a black military dial. The luminescent coating has chipped in places, but is still legible in the dark. The radium on the hands has been replaced with a safe luminescent coating. The caliber 1554 movement with an Incabloc shock-resistant balance, hand-wound, is decorated with Geneva stripes. Dimensions:– diameter excluding crown 34 mm;– width with crown 36.5 mm;– height over lugs 39 mm. The mechanism has been serviced, and the movement is precise and reliable. The exterior is the complete opposite of the interior.Historical context.
