M29 – WWII Battle of Guadalcanal Handwritten Naval Gunnery Notes
Original vintage handwritten notes preserved in a binder labeled “Battle of Guadalcanal.” The notes reference naval gun mounts #5 and #7, radar-support damage, shell fragments, gun crews, and apparent battle damage.
The precise ship, author, and date have not been independently identified. The document is offered as an original historical handwritten note associated by collection provenance with the Guadalcanal campaign, not as a confirmed USS South Dakota document.
One handwritten page on lined paper, showing age-related discoloration and handling wear. Please examine photographs for condition and details.
Provenance: This item came from my late father's personal collection, the Keyser Collection, assembled over many decades. It was preserved in his binder labeled “Battle of Guadalcanal.”
