WWII/2 US M-1 HELMET FRONT SEAM W/ LINER US NAVY ISSUE NAMED For Sale

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A WORLD WAR TWO M-1 HELMET,U.S. NAVY ISSUE
This sale was acquired recently in a large sale with lots of U.S Army and U.S. Navy items including thisbeautiful original piece of WWII U.S. Navy history. This helmet was issued to a Lt. J.W. Burke stationed aboardthe U.S.S. Greely AP-141, a transport ship. The nape strap attached inside the helmet liner has the Lt\'s name writtenon it and the date, 1944 which coincides with the ship\'s launching. Both the helmet and helmet liner are in near mint condition and appear to bebarely worn. The leather chinstrap is also mint condition, and appears to belate war or even Korean war era.
