A great set of material owned by Deroux Dauphin of Lyon, I assume he was in this unit. Lot includes small unit history printed in 1920, 7" tall and 40 pages with roster of officers. Also a much larger history, 1 page or so on the early days, then all about WWI, with photos of officers killed, lists of names etc. Lots of photos. 11 inches tall and 96 pages plus. Also the front of the mailing package this larger book came in, from the Colonel of the regiment. Also a small letter sized mailing sleeve, all addressed to the same man as noted above. The unit saw tremendous action, and I have no idea why this turned up in the US!
DC has shafted us with nutsy fuel costs, and the post office hits me with occasional 'rural address' surcharges. I can't predict if that will be you until I print the postage, so my postage rates have gone up to cover this eventuality.
