This authentic relic features a preserved fragment of barbed wire recovered from the World War I Eastern Front—one of the largest and most brutal theaters of the war.
Barbed wire became a defining element of WWI trench warfare, stretching across vast defensive lines to slow advances, funnel troops into kill zones, and reinforce heavily contested positions. On the Eastern Front, where battles spanned enormous distances between Imperial Russian and Central Powers forces, these entanglements played a critical role in shaping the movement and outcome of engagements.
Unlike the more static Western Front, the Eastern Front saw constant shifts in territory, making surviving battlefield material like this increasingly scarce and difficult to source.
This relic is preserved in a museum-style 5x6 Riker display, allowing for both protection and clean presentation.
Each piece includes:
• Authentic World War I barbed wire fragment
• Serialized Certificate of Authenticity issued by BFT Authentic
• 5x6 Riker display case with viewing window
Material was sourced through direct acquisition and affiliated channels, with provenance documented by BFT Authentic.
