WWI 1919 Velvet/Embroidered Souvenir de France Banner/Cover For Sale

This is a very appealing item, and it's in great condition. It shows a little wear in the center of the backside, otherwise; it's free of smells, stains, repairs, damage, etc. The body measures approximately 12" x 12". The fringe all around measures about three inches. It's very suitable for framing. I don't know if it was made in France or the USA. I see most of these being described as a pillowcase cover, however; I don't see how one could place a cushion in it without cutting the backside. Let me know if you have questions or need additional pictures. Thank you.
