You are looking at a“WWI 1914 Prussian M1895 Belt Buckle G. Koch Berlin Stamped Leather Tab.” This German WWI Belt Buckle is in excellent untouched early war condition. This piece has an honest field worn character. It is entirely original and retains 100% structural integrity.The two-piece bras and nickel silver assembly is structurally sound. The reverse loop catch and the two prong bars remain firmly soldered in place. The metal surfaces have a beautiful, undisturbed 112-year-old aged patina. It has never been polished or chemically cleaned. The strike detail on the GOTT MIT UNS lettering and the surrounding laurel wreath is crisp. The outermost point of the three-dimensional Prussian crown features a slight authentic field wear indentation (flattening).The brown leather tab remains completely intact and supple. The manufacturer and date stamp (G. Koch Berlin 1914) is entirely legible. The stitching is in sully intact and unbroken. It measures approximately 2-1/2" x 1-7/8".
