Here are FIVE DIFFERENT Jewish books printed in the late 1940’s or early 1950’s in a US Army controlled DP Camp in occupied Germany after WW2. It was printed for the Spiritual welfare of the Jewish survivors who requested religious learning material after the war. YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY ONE BOOK for this price.MOST (but not all) of the books are reprints of a pre-WW2 book printed in the 1920’s to 1940's in Europe. The title are:
1) Divray Yechezkel on the Torah & Holidays, Germany, 1948 with the Haskama of the Stropkover Rebbi, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Halberstam. Contains 99 pages.2) Pirkay D'Rabbi Elazar,Landsberg Germany,1948,112 pages.3) Kuntres Kitvay Kodesh by Slonimer Rebbe, Germany, 1948, 54 pages. (Letters of the Slonimer Rebbe).4) Sefer Haredim by Eliezer Akzakri, no date or place (Germany or Shanghai), circa 1950, 244 pages.5) Taharat Mishpacha-Bais Yakov, Germany,no date,circa 1950,124 pages.
Book has no place or ateof printing but from my experience in handling these books (which I have over 50 titles) it was a DP camp publication published anywhere between 1945 to early 1950’s.
