This is an original World War Two Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless Divebomber Pilot\'s Fuel Quantity Indicator Gauge Instrument. This instrument was mounted on the lower instrument panel. It provided the pilot with his fuel in all 4 fuel tanks. This instrument is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 4 inches. The SBD is famous for the Battle of Midway. The aircraft sank 4 aircraft carriers in one day.
