WW2 RAF 1941 PATTERN FLYING BOOTS. A nice pair of 1941 pattern flying boots, as used and worn by fighter and bomber air crew.
This pair are in good, worn condition. The suede sections show some wear, still very nice and retaining good color. Both ankle straps and buckles are again in good used condition without issue. The rubber Galosh sections, once again, are in very good condition, still soft and malleable with no crazing or damage at all. Usually, it is very common to find the rubber section cracked, split, or even melted. These really are in good condition. Both zips are nicely A.M. crown marked on the pullers. Both are in excellent working condition as well. Inside, the sheepskin is again in good condition, and very clean without any losses or damage to report. The boots are marked on the zip tongue with a broad arrow stamp, stores reference number 22C/751, and also size 8 marked.
Overall, a fantastic pair of boots, ideal for any RAF museum, collection, display, or reenactor use!
