Up for sale today is an Original WW2 Canadian Army Officer\'s Wool Overcoat. This overcoat is dated July 24, 1940. It comfortably fits a size 40\" chest, and 5\' 10\" height.The actual measurements of this one are as follows:Laid flat the armpit to armpit is 21 1/2 inches, the shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 22 inches, the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff is 26 inches, and the top of the collar to the bottom of this overcoat is 53 inches.
This vintage overcoat is still in excellent condition. There are however a few minor blemishes on it though, but none of this is bad by any means. These blemishes consist of some small scuffs on the wool. There are no rips, tears, holes, stains, or anything like that on this overcoat. This one is still very fresh and clean both inside and out as well. All of the original buttons are present and accounted for and tight. This is a very heavy, and very well made overcoat. These overcoats were designed to keep the Canadian Soldiers warm up in the extreme cold winters of the far north.
