WW1 Era Group Item Lot.Available for sale is a WW1 Era Canteen, Mills Cartridge Belt, Mills Magazine Pouch and .45 holster.
These items are sold as a group and appear to be unissued with the exception of the holster.
Item Details:Canteen:

• Canteen cover is marked “R.I.A. 1918.”
• The canteen is marked “L.F. and Co.”
• Dated 1918.
• The canteen has a small dent directly under one of the snap closures.
• The canteen cup is marked “U.S.-1918-B.A. Co.”

Cartridge Belt:

• The Mills Cartridge Belt is marked “Mills” inside their distinctive cartridge shaped border and it is dated “Dec. 1918.”
• The metal cleat is stamped, “Made by MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO. WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A.

Magazine Pouch:

• The .45 Magazine Pouch is also marked “Mills” within a cartridge shaped outline
• Dated “Nov. 1918.”
• It is also labelled with “Pat JULY 18: 07. OCT 22: 18.”
• The left pouch also contains the ORIGINAL paper slip admonishing the soldier to “REMEMBER” to keep his magazines oiled and to dry the magazine pocket at the first opportunity to prevent the magazines from rusting.

Pistol Holster:

• The .45 Caliber pistol holster is marked “PERKINS CAMBELL 1917” with inspectors stamp “JAH.”
• The holster shows its age with moderate wear marks. The stitching rivets are solid all around.
