The patch measures approximately five inches in diameter, making it a bold and noticeable piece.
Crafted on high-quality felt, it offers a classic, vintage aesthetic that aligns with the original wartime patches.
The embroidery is finely stitched with vivid colors, ensuring a striking and durable design.

Recruitment & Training:

Candidates had to be between ages 21 and 35.
Over 25,000 women applied, but only 1,830 were accepted into the program.
Of those, 1,074 successfully completed training, earning their wings as WASPs.
Many trained at Avenger Field in Texas, a primary site for female pilot instruction.

Service & Sacrifice:

Although not trained for combat, the WASPs flew nearly every aircraft in the Army Air Forces inventory, including fighters, bombers, and transports.
Tragically, 38 WASP members lost their lives in the line of duty.
Despite their invaluable contributions, WASPs were not officially recognized as military veterans until decades later.
