Acquired from a private Black Hills, South Dakota estate, this unique vintage piece is a fascinating example of traditional folk art and indigenous beadwork.

The piece consists of three distinct strands of vibrant faceted glass beads in sky blue, red, and dark accents, bound securely at the top with traditional tight sinew wrapping forming a loop threaded through a genuine cream suede leather thong for hanging.

Suspended from the bottom of each strand via metal links are three early era US copper Lincoln Wheat Pennies featuring historic dates (including two 1910 & one 1920s) with an authentic aged copper patina.

Condition:

Excellent vintage condition. The piece is completely intact, structurally sound, and displays original tight sinew stringing and intact leather.
