The vertical bamboo slats are structurally solid, though natural splitting, vertical hairline shrinkage cracks, and typical structural separation between a few parallel reeds are present from age-related drying. The exterior pyrography burn detailing remains dark and legible, with faint localized fading, superficial scuffing, and minor dynamic finish rubbing along the darker stained bottom portion. The top and bottom bentwood hoops are firmly attached by original small anchoring brads, though one tiny piece of accent fiber binding shows a slight crack/loss along the upper middle section.
