Vintage Kundo (Kieninger & Obergfell) 400-Day Anniversary Clock made in West Germany. Features a black and gold color scheme with floral decoration on the dial, columns, and base, protected beneath its original acrylic dome. The clock retains its rotating four-ball torsion pendulum, pendulum-wire guard, and transport lock.
Although I am not a clock collector and know very little about this type of clock, I knew enough that, for the clock to work, it had to be level. I was able to level and center the torsion pendulum. After setup, the pendulum continued rotating and the clock operated. I started the clock at 12:20 as the video shows, and let it run most of the day. It was still running smoothly 6 hours later when I had to stop it and lock the pendulum, since I would be handling it for photos. The winding key was not included with the clock when purchased; therefore, I don\'t know the service history or when it was last wound. I could not evaluate long-term timekeeping accuracy and duration of operation. So, this clock is being sold \"as is\". (I realize some clock collectors may already have a key, but if not, replacement keys appear to be available from various sources).
Condition and features:

• Overall condition is excellent with very minimal wear to the black lacquered finish on the base. The most wear is where the dome sits on the base.
• Hand-painted decorated floral transfers, with matching floral columns, all in excellent condition.
• Original acrylic dome - clear and clean, and shines like glass.
• The brass-tone components appear to have no wear.
• Original dial marked at the \"6\" - \"Western Germany,\" indicating manufacture before German reunification- mid-20th-century production date
• Movement stamped \"Kieninger & Obergfell, Made in Germany\" with A3 marking.
• Bottom label reads \"CCM 746 / 001301 1.\"
• The pendulum transport lock and protective pendulum-wire guard remain present. The pendulum will be locked for shipment.
• The clock retains all three original adjustable leveling feet. I used these feet to level the clock for testing. Since I had to unscrew them, I will screw them back to secure them for shipping.

Please review all photos and the video, as they are integral to the description. Unfortunately, I was limited to only a 1-minute video. Note: You may see orange reflections in the brass and metal parts. I was wearing an orange shirt, and I tried to position myself so it would not reflect, but I failed in some areas. :)
