Vtg Harrison Brothers Sheffield England Fixed Blade Knife Premiere Life Time For Sale

Exceptionally rare, authentic 1950s vintage Harrison Brothers. "Lifetime" stacked leather fixed-blade hunting knife. Hand-forged in the legendary cutlery capital of Sheffield, England, during the post-WWII sporting boom, this classic outdoor pattern measures approximately 9 inches in overall length with a robust 5-inch premium clip-point blade. This specific piece is a historic South Yorkshire cutlery pillar. The front of the blade ricasso holds the highly coveted deep, factory logo positioned directly over a clean, double-bordered "LIFE TIME" banner block. The reverse side features the deeply struck "HB" corporate partner mark over "SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND," designating that the high-carbon steel was entirely forged and ground by the prestigious Harrison Brothers manufacturing firm. The handle architecture is composed of beautifully compressed stacked leather washers, tightly framed by brightly contrasting red and black vulcanized fiber spacer rings and capped off by a heavy, solid polished aluminum double guard and bird-head pommel cap. The entire handle assembly remains rock-solid with zero shifting, shrinkage gaps, or loose washers. True to 1950s British cutlery standards, the heavy-duty clip-point blade is made from traditional Sheffield high-carbon steel, which holds a razor-sharp edge. This is not the original sheath, but it’s the one that came with the knife when I got it.
