Up for sale is a one-of-a-kind, completely handcrafted vintage Western Americana folk art diorama and hidden bank, numbered No. 520 and signed on the underside. Sourced locally in Arizona from a Prescott-area estate.
Every detail on this piece is completely hand done. It features a detailed 3D room-box diorama of a humorous Old West bathhouse scene, complete with an individually hand-carved cowboy figure stepping into a wooden wash tub with scrub brush in hand, water bucket, boots, authentic miniature denim fabric jeans with belt and holster detailing, a small vanity mirror, and hand-lettered "Bath House Rules" and "Price List" signs.
The structure is solid wood with individual plank and nail construction. The back and lower housing serve as a functional hidden piggy bank/coin repository accessed via the screwed-down base plate on the bottom.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Completely intact, structurally solid, and display ready. Shows wonderful natural wood grain, character, and minor age-appropriate wear from display and handcrafted assembly. Please inspect all photos for close-up views of the craftsmanship and exact condition.
