This piece absolutely screams 1960s, from its mustard yellow, avocado green and warm orange palette to the bold, stylized floral motifs and wonderfully decorative Japanese design. The naturally aged patina only adds to the look—the subtle darkening around the raised floral decoration creates beautiful depth and contrast, making the flowers really jump from the drawer fronts. It has exactly the kind of warm, eclectic character that makes original pieces from this era so appealing.
Light surface wear, small marks and edge wear are present as expected with age and use, contributing to the authentic vintage character of the piece rather than detracting from it. The colors remain vibrant and the chest displays beautifully. All drawers glide perfectly and interior is very clean. In generally very good condition and in much better shape than others I have seen!
