This is a beautiful hand crocheted filet crochet table runner in ivory cotton thread. It is an excellent condition.
It features a repeating floral or fleur-de-lis-inspired motif that was quite modern for the time period it was made. The handwork is neat and even, with a shaped/scalloped edge integrated into the filet design rather than added afterward.
It will look great on top of a dining table, a buffet, or a dresser.
This was made by a very accomplished experienced person.
I purchased this from the estate of a lady who collected vintage and antique linens for decades.
I found one spot the size of the eraser end of a pencil and took pictures of it from both sides. See last two pictures. I’ve not tried to clean it since I just found it on picture day.
