Vintage Zenith Model 5G401M Canvass Portable Tube AM Radio For Sale

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is a Zenith Model 5G401M portable canvass AM tube radio that is being sold "As Is" for restoration.  The radio powers up, but I could not get any sound from it, so it will need some work to get it functioning. Fortunately, all of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester, so that can be eliminated from the restoration process.   All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well.  The canvass on the radio is in fair condition, with typical wear on the corners and edges and a good amount of staining/discoloration.  The leather handle is in very good condition.  The original grill cloth is in good condition with no holes or tears.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to add this radio to your collection.   In order to ensure safe delivery the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer all will be considered.
