Vintage Swedish Wetterlings splitting maul in excellent condition, showing very little evidence of previous use.
Made in Sweden by Wetterlings, a well-known Swedish axe manufacturer with a long tradition of producing quality forged axes and forestry tools.
This heavy-duty splitting maul features a solid steel head, long wooden handle marked “Wetterlings Genuine Hickory”, and the original leather blade cover.
The axe head is clearly stamped WETTERLINGS SWEDEN.
A beautiful example of Swedish axe craftsmanship, suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of traditional Scandinavian forestry tools.

The axe appears to have seen very little use, with only minor signs of handling, storage and age.
The cutting edge is in very good condition, with light surface marks visible in the photos.
The wooden handle is also in very good condition, with the original Wetterlings Genuine Hickory marking clearly visible.
