History & Fun Fact:Founded in 1945 by Carl E. Weller out of his Easton, Pennsylvania garage, Weller revolutionized electronics repair and manufacturing by inventing the transformer-based soldering gun, which heated up in seconds rather than minutes. These mid-century heavy-duty tools became staples of American garages, radio repair shops, and industrial workshops, prized for their robust build quality and instant-heat convenience.
