Vintage Wapak No 9 Cast Iron Skillet - Straight Block Logo (c. 1903-1910) Smooth For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible Wapak No. 9 cast iron skillet featuring the rare, early \"Straight Block Logo\" (produced between 1903 and 1910). Wapak cookware is legendary among chefs and collectors for being incredibly lightweight with a glassy, ultra-smooth cooking surface that modern cast iron simply cannot match. Logo & Markings: The early straight block \"WAPAK\" stamp is clearly visible on the underside, as is the inverted size \"9\" marker near the handle. Flaws/Damage: No cracks, no chips, and no pitting. The iron is structurally sound, and the interior cooking surface is in excellent shape. Flatness: The pan features a very minor vintage heat-warp typical of thin-cast antique iron. It has a slight tip/wobble on a dead-flat countertop. However, it sits completely stable and does not wobble on gas stove grates. It is an absolute dream for anyone cooking on gas, electric coils, or campfires.
