Up for sale is a fantastic piece of highly collectible, personalized US military history. This authentic, heavy-duty "diner style" ceramic coffee mug was custom-crafted for an individual named Mary T. Bonnet and features dual-sided military caricature artwork.
• Front Side: Features an ink caricature of a weary soldier in full green combat fatigues leaning on a stick, complete with the classic military motivational slogan "DRIVE ON!"
• Back Side: Features the rare, sought-after Florida Ranger Camp alligator mascot donning combat gear and a black beret, framed by the text "Florida Camp Ranger". This insignia represents the grueling final "Swamp Phase" of elite U.S. Army Ranger school held at Camp James E. Rudder inside Eglin Air Force Base.
• The Pedigree (Base Markings): The bottom features the official stamp of the famous A&J Mug Shop in Pensacola, Florida, an institution that has hand-decorated custom ceramics for local military personnel since 1953 A&J Mugs. Faintly impressed into the porcelain substrate is the legendary "VICTOR" maker's mark. Victor Insulator mugs are highly prized by collectors for their thick, heavy-walled construction designed to survive military mess halls.
Condition Details:
