Original pack of 12 Venus 3800 2B graphite drawing pencils manufactured in the USA by the American Pencil Company. Classic dark green crackle-finish pencils with gold lettering and original Venus de Milo illustrated package.

The 2B soft graphite grade is favored by artists for smooth, dark lines, expressive sketching, shading and creating rich tonal values while retaining more control than softer 4B or 6B graphite.

These vintage pencils date from 1939 to 1956, before the company\'s 1956 name change to Venus Pen and Pencil Corporation.
