For your consideration .... Vintage Venetian Fancy Sommerso Pink Glass Beads Beaded Necklace.
One of the oddest necklaces in my collection. Odd because the beads are on metal and that the two intricately carved beads at the bottom of the necklace are plastic! Otherwise you have a vintage Venetian Sommerso type beaded necklace. Sommerso is Italian for submerged illuding to the fact that the main bead is submerged into clear glass in this instance. These beads are molded which gives them some extra appeal. Also appealing are the smaller pink silver foil beads.
Necklace is 26" making this achoker style necklace.The Sommerso beads measure 14 mm and the small silver foil beads are 6 mm. Please note one has broken in half. Additionally some of the wire has verdigris. There is no clasp you simply put this over your head. Please study the pictures carefullyas they are an integral part of this listing.
