Vintage Vendome Hotel key fob from Evansville, Indiana, clearly marked Room 209 on the reverse. A vintage metal key is currently attached to the fob; however, I cannot verify that the key is original to the hotel or Room 209, so it is being included exactly as found.
The fob shows substantial age-related patina, oxidation, scratches and wear. It has not been polished or restored. Please see photos for exact condition.
That’s the safest and most credible way to sell it. Don’t separate the key from it, though. Even if we can’t authenticate the key, the complete key/fob presentation is much more attractive to a collector.
