Measures approximately 8\" tall by about 7\" wide. Substantial heavy cast construction with mounting holes on the reverse.
USS Sacramento (AOE-1) was the lead ship of the Sacramento-class fast combat support ships and served with the U.S. Navy during the Cold War era.
Good vintage condition with attractive age-related patina, oxidation, spotting, surface wear and evidence of previous mounting. Unpolished and presented as found.
Acquired as part of a longtime U.S. Navy and maritime collection. No claim is made that the plaque was actually mounted aboard the vessel.
