Vintage pre-owned military foot locker with heavy authentic age and service wear. Wood shows scratches, scuffs, stains, discoloration, finish loss and other signs of long-term use. Original military stencil markings are worn and partially faded but remain visible. Hinged lid, metal latch and hardware are present. Interior also shows substantial wear and staining. Here is a fantastic piece of vintage U.S. military history—a large wooden military foot locker with surviving USAREUR / U.S. Army Europe stencil markings.
Measuring approximately 36” long × 16” wide × 14” high, this is a substantial wooden locker constructed for utility rather than decoration. It features a hinged wooden lid, metal hardware and latch, reinforced construction, and wonderful naturally aged surfaces.
The top retains a large distressed black stencil panel with partially legible military identification, including “USAREUR” and other numbers/lettering. These original-looking markings are one of the strongest features of the piece and have intentionally not been cleaned up, repainted or restored.
The exterior has exactly the kind of character collectors appreciate in old military equipment—scratches, scuffs, stains, faded finish, worn edges and decades of accumulated patina. The interior likewise shows evidence of extensive use.
This would make an outstanding addition to a military memorabilia collection, veterans display, man cave, historical collection, industrial-loft interior or rustic room. It could also be repurposed as a blanket chest, storage trunk, coffee-table-style display or conversation piece.
