Pre-owned vintage condition. Both candleholders show age-related crazing and have a few small chips/losses, primarily around the delicate applied flowers/leaves. Beautiful matching pair of vintage UCAGCO Ceramics Japan figural porcelain candleholders.
Features a charming boy and girl seated beneath flowering trees, surrounded by dimensional applied porcelain roses and leaves. Finished in soft pastel pink, blue, green and cream with hand-applied gold accents.
Each piece has two candle openings, for a total of four taper candles.
Wonderful mid-century Japanese decorative porcelain with lots of character and detail.
