Vintage reverse-painted glass advertising thermometer featuring a wonderful old-time scene with a horse-drawn buggy stopped at a roadside pump, framed by trees and a scenic mountain background.Advertising along the bottom includes Town Pump – Deerfield, Ohio, with the period slogan:“Our Fifteen Years Serving Truckers Speaks For Itself”Measures approximately 4” x 5”.The original glass thermometer tube is intact and working.The advertising label inside the frame has shifted slightly from its original position over the years and is currently stuck in place. I have left it as found rather than risk disturbing the original glass or reverse-painted artwork.
