Vintage Thomaz de Mello (TOM) hand-painted wooden folk art doll, made in Portugal.
Measures approximately 6.5 inches tall. Features a beautifully detailed traditional-style dress with colorful hand-painted floral designs, carved wooden arms, distinctive ribbed puff sleeves, and a painted face.
Original underside stamp reads “TOM – FEITO EM PORTUGAL” (Made in Portugal) with the number 28, believed to be a model or design number.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear, including paint loss, scuffs, discoloration, and visible separation/cracking in the wooden base. Please carefully review all photos for details and overall condition. On the shoulder blades of the figure it looks like a piece may be missing.
