Up for sale is a fantastic matching pair of vintage Teledyne Big Beam Model 108F Emergency Hazard Beacons. Manufactured by the U-C Lite company in Crystal Lake, Illinois, these heavy-duty steel lights are iconic pieces of vintage industrial, railroad, and marine history.
Both units feature their original brilliant red factory paint and intact yellow internal warning instructions stickers. The red glass warning globes are in excellent condition with no cracks.
• Condition Details: Both units are exceptionally clean cosmetically on the exterior. One unit is near-mint and completely pristine on the inside. The second unit is just as beautiful on the outside but exhibits a little bit of common, superficial battery tray rust/corrosion on the interior base plate as pictured, which can easily be cleaned or left as-is for display.
• Power Requirements: Each unit runs on a standard 6V spring-terminal lantern battery (batteries not included).
• Dimensions: Approx. 6\" wide x 3.25\" deep x 5.5\" tall to the top of the globe.
